Stepping into Risk Apprentice Guide
Growing in leadership is about learning to take kingdom risks! This guide can be used one-on-one or with a group to help students as part of a formal or informal apprentice development program.

As we grow as disciples of Jesus, we learn to hear his voice and take kingdom risks. We step into risk, just like Peter did when he got out of the boat to walk on water to Jesus.
This guide is designed to be used one-on-one or with a group of students learning how to be apprentices in the leadership development pathway (members to apprentices to leaders). It contains five activities arranged in a discipleship cycle framework that introduces network mapping, praying for your network, the Five Thresholds, sharing the gospel, building trust in your network, and launching discussion groups. This resource also includes the Encounters with Jesus discussion guide to use with seekers (follows the Five Thresholds—one session per threshold).
