Jesus, Sent to Heal
Jesus treated the whole person, bringing physical, spiritual, emotional, and social healing.

Jesus treated the whole person, bringing physical, spiritual, emotional, and social healing. Centering those marginalized and stigmatized, the gentle healer welcomed children, valued women, honored widows, loved foreigners, forgave sinners, touched the untouchables, cared for the poor, and advocated for the oppressed. The inbreaking of Jesus’ kingdom brought a reversal of the status quo.
We pray you will join Jesus, our Great Physician, in continuing his holistic healing work today. May you heed his call as “sent to heal” healthcare providers.
