7 Day Prayer Challenge
The 7 Day Prayer Challenge gives you a daily theme, scripture, a guided prayer, and a simple action to help you join God's mission on campus each day.
The 7 Day Prayer Challenge is an ideal resource to use for students who are showing early interest in your campus ministry but are still discerning their level of commitment. It helps you see who is willing to take small steps of mission—qualities that may reveal a potential apprentice. Each day's simple rhythm of Scripture, prayer, and action can be done individually but is even better when done in community. We've seen this challenge spark new rhythms of prayer, even helping one of our groups start a regular prayer meeting on campus.
As students participate, ask winsome questions like:
- What did you notice God doing this week?
- Which day stretched you the most?
- Who on campus is God drawing your attention to?
These kinds of conversations help surface emerging leaders while strengthening a culture of prayer and mission.
